Ron covers the gamut of project origination and management excellence. As an accomplished broadcast and project management professional, he brings years of experience in business process, broadcast engineering, production operations and strategy planning.
Ron served as Director, Broadcast Engineering & Technology at QVC in West Chester, PA, where he managed the project planning, execution and administration for the company’s Broadcast & Network Operations. Among his many project with QVC, Ron developed a multi-year technology plan for high-definition studio and remote production, digital content management and satellite distribution. Completed in 2008, the projects included replacement and upgrade to the facilities infrastructure, studio cameras, robotics and remote production equipment. It was one of the largest facility turnovers of its time.
Prior to QVC, he served as Director, Capital Project for NBC in New York, and Vice-President, Engineering & Technical Operations at Sony Corporation of America in New York. He also served as Director, Engineering & Technical Operations for the ABC Radio Networks in Dallas, Texas.
Ron earned his bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Miami, and his Masters certification in Project Management from Villanova University. He has his PMP certification by the Project Management Institute. He also holds certifications in Six Sigma, Scrum Alliance, and Microsoft Technology. He is active in various project management organizations and teaching forums.
