CES never fails to excite the Positive Flux team. Part serious business and part giant toyshop, CES 2015 was an excellent opportunity to take the pulse of the consumer side of the market. We go to CES looking for clues that will help us advise our media clients as they plan to create and deliver the content that turns shiny tech into a gateway to customers, subscribers, viewers and revenue.
In the report, we’ll share some important findings. For example, UHDTV, or 4K TV, was everywhere at CES. Positive Flux dug deeper, looking for signs of when the next generation of displays would become a factor that you need to consider in your production and distribution mix. A few demonstrations led us to start asking the question, “is 16:9 wide enough?” We also sank into innumerable leather seats to see whether the conjunction of autonomous cars and in-car infotainment would lead to new opportunities for media companies. You’ll find all those topics, as well as a look into the impact consumer measuring devices are having on our ability to engage, understand and market to viewers, in the pages of the Positive Flux CES 2015 trend report.
After you read the report, we invite you to contact us to discuss the findings and their bearing on your upcoming workflow transformations and evolving operational plans. What do you think? Feel free to leave comments here.
